A Seiko is a Seiko. Does the job as time piece.
I have used this watch for some weeks now. It is about a minute or two behind of time in a week. The error is big but seems still within the tolerance. It should be able to be adjusted. But since I bought it online, I don’t really know how to easily get it adjusted by the dealer. Thus, I recommend you to buy it from a localized store who has tool to open the case and adjust the speed for you. I have shorten the bracer by using a tool which I bought from Clas Ohlsen for 69kr. It’s easy to do it since I used similar type of watches for many many years before. As long as I wear it, it keeps running so far. I have not taken it down from my wrist unless I swim in sea water. I originally wanted to buy a good watch , like Grand Seiko spring drive woman’s watch. However, I found out that there isn’t spring drive watch for woman with small wrists. I bought this watch just because I need a time piece which runs all the time without additional care. I sold my Apple Watch second handed because I do not like to charge the battery every day. I am probably one of those small group of people who does not like to take out cell phone to view time. A watch is much easier/convenient to see time. I am not fully adapted to the watch on my hand yet after several years’ break of using watch. This habit is gradually coming back now. It might take a couple of months. Again, I am still waiting Seiko to build a Grand Seiko spring drive watch for woman. I will then Replace this watch with it.
